World War Z is a popular co-op zombie shooting game developed by saber Interactive and usually available for $20.99.
The game developer announced that the World War Z game now supports cross-platform play between PC and Xbox One.
To celebrate this occasion the Epic Games Store in association with Sabe Interactive is offering the game completely free on PC.
Xbone One users can get the game at a 75% discount for $9.99, but the catch is you need an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
But the PC version is completely free without any strings attached. You can grab the game for free by visiting this game page.
Click the ‘Get game’ button and add it to your Epic Game Store account.
Also, Epic Games is reportedly offering a refund for those who have purchased the game after February 13 (11 am EST) on the digital store.
Along with this game, you can grab Figment (normally priced at $6.99) and Tormentor x Punisher (normally $3.99) games for free.
Since December 2018, on a weekly basis, Epic store has been giving away free PC games.
Earlier the digital store announced only Figment and Tormentor x Punisher games will be available as a free download for this week.
But World War Z is a surprise addition to this free game promotion.
During the first two weeks of it’s launch the game sold more than 3,20,000 copies in the Epic Games store alone.
In the first month of its launch, more than 2 million units sold across all platforms (PC, Xbox, and PlayStation).
All three games will be available as free to download until April 2, after that you can grab puzzle-platformer Gone Home and Hob games.
