Microsoft has released the pre-beta version of Windows 8, the upcoming version of Windows OS which is now available for download in both 32 bit & 64-bit versions.
Windows 8 brings a fresh new interface, a bunch of new features, greater performance for desktops and a brand new interface for tablet users called Metro, which provides a larger interface for touch screens with a tile based operating system, similar to Windows Phone 7.
This is an early build of Windows 8, a developer Preview intended for developers. So it is not recommended to install this on a system for daily usage as it may not be stable, operate correctly or work the way the final version of the software will.
Also, features and functionality in the prerelease software may not make it through to the final version of Windows 8 and few product features need advanced or additional hardware, or installation of other software.
