On Thursday Microsoft Corp. announced Windows 7 retail pricing, upgrade information, launch details, and a pre-order deal also disclosed.
Today Microsoft will launch its Windows 7 Upgrade Option Program, through which it offers a free upgrade to Windows Vista users.
Note: Upgrades are only available to people who buy a new PC from a participating manufacturer,we mentioned about this in our Previous post .
Microsoft has also outlined this i.e. if you buy a new PC between June 26th (2009) to January 31st, 2010, you will receive a Windows 7 Upgrade Option Coupon to receive a FREE copy of the corresponding Windows 7 version of the Windows Vista version installed on your computer.
Microsoft said Windows 7 will be available in 14 languages on October 22: English, Spanish, Japanese, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Chinese (Hong Kong).

Because of a European Commission anti-trust inquiry, the Windows 7 version going on sale in Europe will not include Internet Explorer, Microsoft’s Web browser. Microsoft announced earlier this month that it had decided to remove the Web browser because of the regulatory wrangling.
Retail prices for full and upgrade versions of Windows 7 are:

- Windows 7 Professional (Full): $299.99
- Windows 7 Ultimate (Full): $319.99
- Windows 7 Home Premium (Upgrade): $119.99
- Windows 7 Professional (Upgrade): $199.99
