To begin, you need to visit https://www.whatsapp.com/download from your browser and download the installer based on your operating system.
Run the installer, finish the installation process and launch the desktop app, then scan the QR code from within WhatsApp with your phone. You’ll also need to have the latest version of the app on your phone, which has to stay connected to the internet.
To scan the QR code, open the app from your iPhone or Android Phone, tap the three dots at the top right and select the option ‘ WhatsApp web’ , then tap the ‘+’ at the top right to launch your phone’s camera and point the camera at the QR code displayed on your desktop.
