Vault Comics announced “UNBANNED,” a Pride Month project to give free queer books to everyone, everywhere.
There is nothing new in the comics and literature world about banning books, but recently we’ve witnessed an extraordinary number of bans across the United States. Even though politicians and extremist groups may be working hard to silence LGBTQIA+ voices, Vault Comics continues to say that this space has always been safe and will always be safe, but it will also be loud, proud, and unapologetic.
This means that every week for the next five weeks, Vault Comics will be giving away a free digital copy of a book featuring LGBTQIA+ characters and written by LGBTQIA+ writers.
Use the code “UNBANNED” on the digital versions of the books listed below in their webstore to get them for free, and check back every Monday for a new title you can add to your library.
