We have seen Jaunty Jackalope the latest version of Ubuntu(9.0.4) has been released,I’m sure many of them wanted to a give a look on Ubntu 9.0.4. Also we have seen programs like Portable Ubuntu, which will install Ubuntu without harming our current operating system, perhaps because we do not want to make full jump into Linux world , or simply wanted to look out the new OS.But with programs like”Portable Ubuntu” we cannot have full access to all functions ,they will just give you outline of Ubuntu or any Linux OS.
A good option is to try the LiveCD,by just putting CD and rebooting the PC, it can give you a look at the operating system and provides access to all its functions before installation.
Another best option is UNetbootin ,which allows users to install Linux(Ubuntu) or create bootable live USB drives without a CD. UNetbootin has built-in support for numerous Linux distribution . It can create a dual-boot install, or replace the existing OS entirely.Bootable USB drive has many advantages, it is too handy and you need not to burn a Linux OS onto a DVD. Making a bootable Linux live USB drive is very easy with the freeware program UNetbootin.
