Ubuntu Tweak , the Popular and must have modification utility for the Ubuntu desktops has received an update, it is now at  version 0.8.7 and supports Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
 
Ubuntu Tweak is an open source utility designed to enable users to easily configure Ubuntu according to their need, it offers access to various features and configuration options that are not offered by Canonical in a default Ubuntu desktop environment.
 
This handy tweaking application allows users to tweak several aspects of the system, view basic system information, administer the distribution and clean up the clutter (cache and unneeded files) to recover storage space and make your desktop run faster and better.

Ubuntu Tweak 0.8.7 arrives with new features and support for Ubuntu 14.04, this means users can tweak some specific settings of Ubuntu 14.04 .With this update, you can enable the “Recursive Search” option and “click to minimize app” feature. Bug fixes include, nautilus scripts support for Ubuntu 13.10 and later, a few missing desktop icons,fonts, window, and file manager was added.

You can either use the above link (package install) or install the latest version through PPA, just open a terminal and type the following commands:
 

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak

 

Ubuntu Tweak can be installed on all Linux distributions, but its meant to work on Ubuntu derivatives, such as Ultimate Edition, Kubuntu, Xubuntu,Linux Mint,and others.
