Samsung Galaxy S22 Series has been Officially Unveiled

Samsung Galaxy S22 series, the South Korean electronics company’s new flagship smartphone series, was unveiled on February 9 during Galaxy Unpacked 2022.

The devices are powered by the latest high-end smartphone chipsets and feature 120Hz AMOLED displays.

Samsung’s Galaxy S22 series has three phones in it: the Galaxy S22, the Galaxy S22 Plus, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Depending on where you live, you can get either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200. These three models have a few crucial differences that should be taken into consideration.

Samsung increased the charging speed of the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra versions this year, enabling 45W cable charging. The company also says that the Galaxy S22 series has better low-light photography called “Nightography.”

The Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22 Plus are both big and small versions of the same basic design. They look a lot like last year’s Galaxy S21, but they have a smaller size and some new features. When it comes to design, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has a whole new look that not only makes it look different from its siblings but also allows it to fit both quad rear cameras and an S Pen inside.

Samsung says the Galaxy S22 Ultra is aimed at individuals who want the best of productivity and creativity in a single smartphone, while the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus are aimed at those who want the best in creating, viewing, and connecting.

Samsung sees the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus as all-arounders for casual users without the high price tag or the bulky dimensions of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Galaxy S22 Series Release date and price

In the U.S Samsung kept the S22’s starting price the same as the S21 series. The Galaxy S22 costs $799, the Galaxy S22 Plus costs $999, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra costs $1,199.

Pre-orders for the phone begin today, with the retail release scheduled for February 25.

In India, Samsung didn’t reveal the price of the three phones. However, the Samsung India website is offering a “Pre-reserve VIP Pass” that lets you get an all-new Galaxy S22 Flagship smartphone.

The Pre-reserve VIP Pass costs RS 1999 and this amount will be reduced during the final purchase. Also, you will also be eligible for a Galaxy Smart Tag absolutely free.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200:

Buyers in the United States will receive the S22 equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, while those outside the U.S will receive the Exynos 2200.

Although Snapdragon chips typically outperform Samsung’s Exynos chips in benchmarks, Exynos 2200 is particularly noteworthy this year due to the inclusion of an AMD RDNA-powered GPU. This could result in a higher-quality gaming experience on the S22 sold in international markets than on the S22 sold in the United States.

With the S22 and S22 Plus, there will be 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. In the S22 Ultra, you can have either 8GB or 12GB of RAM, as well as 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage.
