Finally after much hype and long waiting, yesterday at a press event in New Delhi , Samsung unveiled Samsung Galaxy S2 Price and availability of the device in Indian Market.
Samsung India announced the Price of 16 GB version of Samsung Galaxy S2 as RS 32,890 and the smartphone will available exclusively on Vodafone stores from June 3 and it will be available on other retail stores from June 9.
According to Samsung mobile India, India version of Samsung Galaxy S II will have 1.2 GHz Exynos processor with Super AMOLED+ display and also it will feature NFC chip.
Many India Android smartphones lovers are waiting for a long time for the launch of 3 popular Dual core phones in India market. Among them the world first dual core phone LG optimus 2x is already available in Indian retail stores at reasonable price of RS 24,490, now Samsung Galaxy S2 is launched at RS 32,890 and I wonder when will be HTC sensation will be launched in India.
As a reminder, the he Galaxy S II aka I9100 runs with 1.2GHz dual-core processor on latest Android version 2.3 aka Gingerbread and it features 4.3-inch AMOLED plus display, 8MP camera with LED flash, full HD video recording and playback, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct support, Bluetooth 3.0, accelerometer, DLNA, 16GB internal memory and 1650mAh battery.

Have been waiting for this since quite some time but am dissepointed with the pricing. They just announced date 1-2 days before iphone4 launch via aircel & airtel. They are almost matching prices with iphone4. Anything less than 30K would have been great price to attract wider audience.
