Samsung Galaxy S Advance I9070 Announced

Ahead of mobile world congress (MWC), today the Korean Samrtphone maker Samsung officially announced another variant of Galaxy S called as Samsung Galaxy S Advance ( I9070), the smartphone has similar specifications to the original Galaxy S but it is Powered by a dual core 1.0 GHz processor.

The Galaxy S Advance GT-i9070 comes with a 4-inch (800 x 480)WVGA Super AMOLED Screen, Gingerbread OS, 16GB of memory,768MB of RAM, 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front facing camera.The device also supports HSPA connections at speeds of up to 14.4Mbps and has Samsung’s apps  such as Media Hub, Music Hub and ChatOn service.

Running on Android Gingerbread and featuring Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface, the GALAXY S Advance enables users to stay connected through the Samsung Hubs and ChatON services. Music Hub offers access to over 11 million tracks and Readers Hub offers access to over 2.3 million e-books, 3,500 magazine and 200 newspaper titles; while the hugely popular Game Hub offers access to thousands of catalogued games supplemented by gamer news feeds and news.

Samsung’s cross platform communication service, ChatON connects all phone users into a single community using phone numbers instead of usernames and passwords, provides aneasy instant messaging, group chatting and sharing of content in multiple formats—images, video, voice, contacts, calendar—to make messaging simpler and more intuitive than ever.

Pricing & Availability :

There is no word yet on what pricing will be for the Galaxy S Advance, but the smartphone will be released in Russia first in February followed by CIS, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Latin America and China.
