Consider a super-light laptop powered by an octa-core ARM CPU. Are you considering an Apple MacBook Air? Consider one that costs $349. That’s the Samsung Galaxy Book Go, a 14-inch notebook based on Qualcomm’s 7C Gen 2 CPU that doesn’t run Chrome OS as you might anticipate.
The Galaxy Book Go is unique among low-cost Windows notebooks, it is powered by a Qualcomm ARM chipset rather than the more common Intel Celeron or Atom CPUs. To the uninitiated, Qualcomm’s ARM processors are architecturally similar to mobile CPUs used in smartphones and tablets, including Apple’s new M1 processor.
The Galaxy Book Go is a Windows 10 Home laptop with a 14.00-inch 1920×1080 pixel display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 CPU and has 4GB of RAM.
Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, and 3 USB ports (1 x USB 2.0), Multi Card Slot, Lock Slot, Headphone, and Mic Combo Jack connectors are among the connectivity options.
