About the Author

Matt Frisbie has worked in web development for over ten years. He served as CTO for a supply chain startup, a Big Four software company, and a billion-dollar Y Combinator company.

Matt, a Google software developer, wrote code for most online browsers. His contributions include the AdSense and Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) platforms. This contrasts with Matt’s first engineer work at DoorDash, the online meal delivery pioneer.

Matt wrote “Professional JavaScript for Web Developers,” “Angular 2 Cookbook,” and “AngularJS Web Application Development Cookbook.”

His videos include “Introduction to Modern Client-Side Programming” and “Learning AngularJS.” Level 1 sommelier, he speaks at front-end meetings and webcasts. He majored in computer engineering at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
