Opera Mini rejected in the AppStore

It seems that the problems generated by the policies adopted by Apple in its AppStore not only for small developers, but also even big companies facing it.We’re making reference to that once the developer finishes to create an application before it is published in the AppStore, must be assessed by personnel from Apple, not taking many chances of being approved.

New York Times, had commented that Opera had already completed the development of the version of its browser(Opera Mini) for iPhone. Apple has recently rejected the application, it appears that the problem is that this browser uses Java in its development, something that contradicts the norms of Apple:

No use of interpreters for non-member developing applications in OS X iPhone.

In other words, Opera should develop the software in Cocoa to enter the AppStore, or release its browser to be installed on any device with Jailbreak.

Whatever the solution, it is clear that we will not see an alternative browser for Safari early in the App Store.
