Symantec has released the  first public beta of  Norton 360 v6, the  ultimate all-in-one protection suite. This build 54  offers a  first glimpse on Norton 360 version 6.0,try the beat now and you can even get a special discount on the final version once the Beta trial ends.

Norton 360 v6 key Features :

  1. Norton Protection System: Provides industry-leading security with four unique layers of powerful protection proven to proactively stop online threats before they can infect your computer.
  2. Norton Management is cloud based so you can download, install, transfer, update or renew Norton products from anywhere right over the internet.
  3. Norton Identity Safe: Secures, remembers, and automatically enters your website user names and passwords to prevent cybercriminals from stealing your information as you type. Now includes an online version, so you can share logins among additional PCs protected by Norton 2012 products

According to Symantec Norton 360 v6 offers best protection and performance with improved local or secure online backups. To install the public beta you will be asked to create a new Norton Account and after you complete registration, you will be emailed a Beta Subscription Activation Key.

Norton uses different servers  for Public Beta license key, so your license will not be stored with your Purchased Subscription keys, and your Retail Keys will not be available in the Public Beta version of Norton Account.

Also the Online Backups you create with the BETA N360 v6 product will not be accessible with the released version of N360 v6, and will eventually be purged post-BETA. I would recommend that any data you backup with the BETA be saved elsewhere, and not to rely on this BETA backup as a primary backup.
