Nokia Launched Dual SIM Phones @RS 1,999

Finally Nokia entered into Indian Dual SIM handset Market and I think at-last it got the fact why homegrown brands such as Micromax, Spice, Karbonn and Zen are becoming popular & a threat to it’s secure market.

Yesterday in New Delhi, Nokia Displayed & launched two new dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) mobile phone handsets Nokia C1 and Nokia C2, both at very low price with rich features.

“Entry-level consumers need dual SIMs for various reasons, including economising time and costs, improving efficiency and for increased convenience. To address these consumer requirements, Nokia has launched these two devices that offer multiple SIM capabilities with a balanced feature set and relevant innovations at affordable price points,” said Mary McDowell ,Nokia executive vice-president.

Nokia C1:


This Double Sim phone will be available in blue, red, light grey and green colors and has a stand by time of 6 week (longest ever on a Nokia phone), a flash light/ torch, a FM radio with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack and it is priced at Rs.1,999.

If you spend extra Rs 500, you can get the feature rich Nokia C2 Dual SIM phone and it’s very useful for rural area people. Nokia C2 offers a wide range of information covering health-care, agriculture, education and entertainment via Nokia’s Ovi Life Tools.

Nokia C2 can keep both SIM cards active; meaning calls and text messages can come to either number while the phone is on. Another interesting Feature is, second SIM card is ‘hot-swappable’, meaning it can be removed and inserted when the phone is on.

Nokia C2 will be available in Grey,Red, Black, Magenta, dark blue or white colors and it is priced at Rs 2500.
