Finally the $200 Nexus 7 , 16GB tablet now available in India for sale, but the tablet is priced at RS 19,981 ($370). The Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) tablet is now available for sale at Cromaretail online store,once ordered, the product will be shipped to your destination within 7 working days.
Also Alex Huang, managing director of system business group at ASUS India announced that starting from tomorrow Nexus 7 tablet will be available in Indian stores for MRP INR 19,999.
Google and Asus jointly made the Nexus 7, which is the most hot selling android tablet.The 7-inch tablet features Android 4.1 jeally bean OS, a 1.3 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, a 1280×800 display, 1GB RAM, 1.2MP front camera, 16GB internal storage and pure Google experience.

My view:
Those who wish to buy tablet, Nexus 7 is the flaghship device for Android on tablets, but I think the price of the device is some what high when you compare the $200 (around RS 12,000) rate tag with the price in India.
The 16GB model sold in India supports only Wi-Fi connectivity,but there is no word whether 3G version will be available in India, which will go on sale in US and other countries starting November 13.
