Amazon India reduced the prices of Kindle fire tablets, now you can get the 16 GB version of 7-inch Kindle Fire HD Tablet for RS 11,999 , earlier this tablet was priced at RS 15,999. Also 32 GB version of the tablet price was reduced from Rs 18,999 to RS 15,999. But 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD tablet price was not reduced and price is RS 21,999.
This move will make Kindle fire tablets much cheaper when compared to Nexus 7 devices sold by Google play India store, further we can relate this price cut-down with the launch of next-generation kindle fire devices. It’s expected that in few days Amazon is going to launch Kindle Fire HD 2 tablet to compete with Google Nexus 7 2013 version.
Although Kindle Fire HD Tablets are based on Android OS, but they are not yet popular in India because of the Amazon’s closed eco-system, I hope the Cut Down of Prices will increase the popularity of the Kindle devices.
