It is conformed that Apple iPad 2 is hitting Indian electronic stores on Friday, April 29. According to Apple PR not only India, iPad 2 will also be launched in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore & Eight Other Countries in this Week.
iPad 2 will arrive in Japan on Thursday, April 28 and India, Hong Kong, Singapore and eight additional countries on Friday, April 29. Additionally, iPad 2 with Wi-Fi will be available in China beginning Friday, May 6.
iPad 2 the successor of Apple iPad 1 is reaching in India very early compared to iPad 1 which was launched in January 2011.
Compared to iPad 1, iPad 2 is 33 percent thinner and 15 percent lighter with stunning 9.7-inch LED-backlit LCD screen. iPad 2 features a dual-core A5 processor, two cameras, a front-facing VGA camera for FaceTime and Photo Booth, and a rear-facing camera that captures 720p HD video but still delivers up to 10 hours of battery life.

iPad 2 with Wi-Fi will be available in Japan on April 28 and Hong Kong, India, Israel, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey and UAE on April 29 for a suggested retail price of $499 (US) for the 16GB model, $599 (US) for the 32GB model and $699 (US) for the 64GB model. iPad 2 with Wi-Fi + 3G will be available for a suggested retail price of $629 (US) for the 16GB model, $729 (US) for the 32GB model and $829 (US) for the 64GB model. iPad 2 with Wi-Fi will be available in China on May 6.

Now with all the Android tablets out there, this one seems a bit expensive, especially the 3G models, what with the sky high pricing of 3G data packs by telecom companies.
@Gourav Do you really think Android tablets can be compared with iPad. Yes, iPad is little expensive than other tablets but it provides tons of better features than PlayBook, Galaxy Tab or any other Android tablets.
