How to enable 'autocomplete=off' feature in Chrome 34

Today  Google Chrome 34 stable version has been released for Linux, Mac and Windows users.

Although the new version arrived with  over  30 security fixes  and new features such as responsive images support, new look for Windows 8 and  “Ok Google” voice search feature, but at the same time the latest Chrome update introduced a controversial feature  which allows the browser to store password or fill passwords even if the site doesn’t allow it.

The new password grab feature in Chrome 34 created some unrest among users, now even in the presence of “autocomplete=off” feature  chrome browser will fill password fields and offers to save your password.

This means, even if the automatic password collection on a website is turned off, chrome still lets you auto-fill passwords or save the passwords if  the password manager is enabled.

“This gives more power to users in spirit of the priority of constituencies, and it encourages the use of the Chrome password manager so users can have more complex passwords. This change does not affect non-password fields,” said by Daniel Xie through a post on Google Chrome Releases blog.

Chrome developers are defending this new feature, saying that this will help users to save time and increase security by remembering lengthy and complex passwords as automatic password collection disabled website only allows complex and lengthy passwords.

However, if you wish to disable this new controversial feature, just follow below instructions.
