I know & I think every one know that kaspersky is top rated security solution compared to all other security products. Previously we shared several kaspersky Promotions and one (26) KIS 2010 License giveaway. These promo’s are temporary solutions and more over, unfortunately some keys in our giveaway are blocked. But some how we forgotten to share a much reliable free offer, and thanks to sujay for the remind.

Coming to the point, today we are sharing a free offer or trick which will provide free Kaspersky Security Suite CBE Win7 aka KIS 2010 license every 91 days.

How to get kaspersky security CBE win 7 or KIS 2010 License ?

  1. First create an account at Computerbild.de(click here),by following below image

    Note : If you already have a Computerbild account, then just go to step 3. Also note down username & password which will be useful for many upcoming promo’s.

  2. Now you will get an email from ComputerBild with confirmation link, Click the link to to activate your account
  3. Now visit this promo page http://goo.gl/qthJ then enter your user-name, password and click on “login” button as shown in below image

    4. Free KIS 2010 License

  4. Now you will forwarded to a webpage as shown in below image, then select “Persönlichen…..” (2nd) box and click on “Lizenzschlüssel anfordern” button.

  5. Now instantly you will receive an email with license code (big Red letters) for the product from Computerbild.

    6. Note: This key doesn’t works  in any normal KIS 2010 installers, except below (CBE) installation file.

  6. Now download the installation file from(click) here
  7. Install it and enter your license code to continue.


    8. Note:     The installation file will be in German language, don’t fret, just continue the installation process by clicking  “weiter or Ja” button, whenever the installation screen remains still for your instructions.

  8. Now after installation, open or run Kaspersky Security Suite CBE Win7, then click on “Einstellungen ” tab (top of the window) as shown in below image.

  9. Now in Kaspersky Security Suite CBE Win7 interface window, on left side, Click “Einstellungen”, then uncheck “Selbstschutz aktiveren” box, as shown in below image and Click OK, then close the program.

  10. In order to transform the interface language from German to English, run below registry edit

    11. Note: Don’t update before running this edit

  11. First click start, then click –> Accessories –>Run, type regedit and click OK. In the Registry Editor go to the following path
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREKasperskyLabprotectedAVP9environment
  12. Now double click “Localization” and change the value to from de to en.

  13. Now restart your PC & check KIS 2010 aka kaspersky Security Suite CBE Win7 on your PC

    14. That’s it, you will have genuine KIS 2010 running on your PC, so once after 91 days or 3 days before the license completion period, get license code by repeating Step 3 & 4.

    But what’s the difference between CBE and other products from Kaspersky?
    Is this version a beta for Windows 7?

  3. I want to make a small correction. CBE suite for xp/vista users is not KIS 2010 but its KIS 2009.

  5. Also there is a way to temporarily change the interface to english.
    Open Kaspersky from tray and press Shift + F12. this will change the interface to english until reboot.

    Would like to say thanks also for having the oppirtunity to read this post, a good informative one. Particularly the register tip was new to me, have’nt seen it before even if this promo was’nt new information as it has been at Computerbilds website a quite long time – Little bit strange they have’nt stoped it yet, lets keep thumbs they forgot the link:)
    From what I am able to see here, there might be a chanse that the name “CBE” stands for
    Computer Bild Evaluation and if it is an evaluation copy would’nt that be the same as an kind of beta version of Kaspersky 2009 build for Windows 7.
    Although Kaspersky don’t provide any beta versions in this moment anylonger from their website, meaning this version should be seen developed in this moment that much as it is in practically speak an full developed version of KIS 2010.
    Please correct me if I’m wrong 😀

  13. The word “CBE” stands for ComputerBild edition, and as sujay suggested expect safe run feature, it is almost same as KIS 2010, you will get updates and has all features.

    It isn’t beta, I’m using it for almost 110 days

  17. Is there a possibility to check MD5 and SHA1 Hash values of this files (Win7 version and XP version) with some references?

    Maybe some German users that have buy ComputerBild can post original values.

    I reinstalled the KSS CBE 10 and tried to change the german interface to Eng but couldnt do it. Its telling me tat u cannot change. Before it was fixed properly but its not allowing me to do. Can any1 suggest me in this regard?

  21. Thanks for this post….well used to use KIS but when i got my new lappy i jumped to mse…and saw this and installed..later realised KIS 2009…Anyways thumbs up for the good work…and am surely waiting for mse2… the beta is out…with more functions js not js another antivirus..XOXO

  22. ok..so am being asked to fix that option(enable self defence) that i disabled, after updating the definitions….what to do do…leave it or fix it???

    1. my suggestion is not shift for cbe 10, as sujay said if you prefer sandbox feature you can go for cbe 10.
