How to get it for free ?

  1. First download ESET NOD32 v4 trial from click here(32-bit) ,for 64-bit systems download(click)  here
  2. Now download NOD32 v4 cfg.xml from PCGamesHardware(click here)

  3. Now unzip the zip downloaded  cfg  file, then Install ESET NOD32 v4 and click next to continue installation process, don’t do anything until you see below image

  4. Now as shown in above image click “change”, then click “yes” to toggle advanced mode.

  5. Now as shown in below image click “setup” button in the left panel,then click on Import and export settings.

  6. Now browse and select the downloaded (unzipped) cfg.xml file as shown in above image,then click “OK”.
  7. Now restart your PC, then update to latest ESET NOD32 database which will be around 22MB

  13. Hey Friends I don’t know who is this guy “Prince of Persia” but I must say he is a fool. There is nothing better than Eset Smart Security.   14. But after activating by using file config.xml (attach in this form), my licence status still is “Remain trial period: 30 days”. So I have some questions:
    1. If this is a real promotion program, Why does after activating NOD32 using config.xml, my licence status still is “Remain trial period: 30 days”. Sorry but when see this, I think i’m using a trial version, not activated. Is it right?
    2. But when i click Help -> Verify licence validity, i got a message that “Licence valid until 4/21/2010”. Has my NOD32 already activated?

    1. @Anticafe: I think your license is activated,i had received comments about this glitch in some systems.I’m using it on windows 7 laptop for one week it’s working fine.

  15. @Ramakanth: Thanks, but I wonder because my licence status still is “Remain trial period: 30 days”. Some of my friends told me that when Verify licence validity, they got a message “Licence valid until 4/21/1967″. Is there any problem with config.xml file.
