Last month I reported about Firefox 4 Beta 2 relased, yesterday Mozilla pushed another update “Firefox 4 Beta 4 “, which is available for download in over 30 languages for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems.
The beta version brings several new features, the highlight & best feature is Firefox 4 Beta 4 supports “Direct2D acceleration” on Windows platforms.
Firefox 4 is first browser to implement 2D graphics acceleration on Windows, although Microsoft being the first to announce this feature will be an integral part of Internet Explorer 9.
Other two noted Features are: Panorama tabs (previously known as Tab Candy) and Firefox Sync, that synchronizeyour bookmarks, history, form-fill data and open tabs accessible across multiple computers and mobile devices.
I don’t know, but hardware-accelerated graphics feature “Direct2D ” is turned off by default. However enabling this feature is very easy.
