Mozilla announced just a few weeks ago that the change in numbers would be in the development of Firefox 3.1. The final version has been dragging over time and eventually decided to be called Firefox 3.5, due to the amount of improvements that will come in this built-in browser.
However, it has not yet made the leap in numbers as to the Beta versions are concerned, it was announced yesterday that Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 available for download.
