I’m sure u have not tried if this lisence works or not. please test it before publishing..
I think the problem lies with the installation file you provide. It links to the 15 day trial software at East-Tec’s website. You certainly did NOT try this offer using THAT installation file. The Installation file in the demonstration page they give us, has a photo of a registration interface seen after installation and exiting any running instances of the Advisor or the Scheduler, a big registration interface that has two clickable buttons one says, “Free Registration,” the other says “Try” it’s referring to the 15 day trial only, and clickable text in the lower middle of the page that says “Enter Key …”. However, in the .exe downloads we got linked to here at East-Tec, the same registration page has two clickable buttons on the right that say “15 Day Trial” or “Buy Now” on the big registration interface, and clickable text in the lower middle says “Enter Key …”. The software used in the demo photos is obviously not the same software being offered in the link above that links to the 15 day trial software at East-Tec. The link was offered at a magazine called PC Advisor, is that link still around someplace? Could that have been the same offer that dotTech.org offered over a week ago, that is no longer being offered? If that were the case though, why are they still going to the trouble to send out the License Keys from East Tec’s own site? I think we need the link from Pc Advisor, maybe I’m mistaken. I don’t like to be misled, sent on a wild goose chase, I have precious little time to spare. Thanks anyway.
I asked east-tec for comment and as a rsult I have got the following answer:
“Thank you for your email. It seems that you have downloaded the East-Tec Eraser 2010 from our website. The license key provided to you will work only on a special setup of the East-Tec Eraser 2010 that you should install from the PC Advisor Magazine DVD.”
My email from East-Tec says the following:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for registering your copy of East-Tec Eraser 2010, that you have received free of charge from the PC Advisor magazine.
It is a different .executable file obviously. Did nobody else notice the key words, “copy of East-Tec Eraser 2010, that you have received free of charge from the PC Advisor magazine?” I suspect it was a specific direct download from their site. Nobody has posted here having successfully completed the installation. Please take the post down, or get us the link at PC Advisor. I have found the magazine, and I can’t find anyplace there or using their Search engine that gives away software, and their download area doesn’t even have this software title, this is really annoying me. What kind of mischief is going on here?
I see, I didn’t see Bekend post until after I put up my post, my page hadn’t refreshed yet, thank you for getting us that important information.
@all: sorry I didn’t tried product, just replicated the details from source.
WAIT!!! I’m sure you people followed the instructions to get the registration code and got the email from east tech:
