Windows Blue which is in development will be released as an free upgrade for Windows 8 in this August and the first public beta will be available by June month.
The main differences you can notice in this version of blue includes larger and smaller Live Tiles, now you can customize Start screen a bit, updated side-by-side app view, which intents to display two applications with matching width. Other important addition include a Play option under the Devices panel, a screenshot button on the Share sidebar, and Internet Explorer 11.
Internet explorer 11 in this leaked build provides preview of new features that will be introduced in IE11,the new features so-far discovered in this build include synced tabs, option to view downloads list in the browser(just click wrench icon) , option to on and off web site tracking.
Another interesting and hidden feature discovered in this leaked windows blue build is “slide to shut down” ,this feature is accessible through a .exe file in system 32 folder.I think this feature is still in development, that’s why they are hiding it.
As we keep tracking on Windows Blue development, this page is intended to convey the progress of Windows Blue development and we don’t recommend installation of this leaked build on your regular windows system, as this is an early build, we can expect several bugs and security issues
