Sweet Home 3D is a free application for interior design,which helps you placing your furniture in the house. A move is imminent and you don’t know yet how to accommodate your furniture? Sweet Home 3D will help you with the arrangement of your house and shows you what your future housing arrangements will look like.

Sweet Home 3D is aimed at people who wants to design their interior quickly. The user may draw the walls of his rooms upon the image of an existing plan, change the color of the walls, draw dimensions, drag and drop furniture in the plan from a catalog organized by categories (living room, kitchen…), in which he can import 3D models created by himself or downloaded from different web sites.

All the changes made in the 2D plan like changing the size,orientation and the elevation of each piece of furniture are simultaneously reflected in a 3D view, either from an aerial view point, or from a virtual visitor view point, and print the home plan and the 3D view. It also has a user guide to help you throughout the design process.

Sweet Home 3D is an open source project, distributed under license GNU General Public License, and free. It is available in 1 different languages Sweet Home 3D is cross-platform, to be run on Windows, Mac OS X 10.4 / 10.5, Linux and Solaris.
