Nvidia released “GeForce 295.73 drivers”, the first WHQL-certified driver from the R295 family of drivers and nvidia recommends this driver for all GeForce users.
NVIDIA GeForce 295.73 driver includes the many game-changing features, NVIDIA-exclusive improvements that have been introduced in recent betas, plus a few other treats too.
According to Nvidia’s release notes, the new GeForce will give you a game changing performance boost to work with,it increases performance in a number of games, including The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which enjoys an FPS boost of over 40 per cent in certain scenarios.
Nvidia is basing that off of performance measured with a GeForce GTX 560 at 1080p with Ultra settings in indoor scenes when compared with the previous driver.
Support for Ambient Occlusion has been added for Skyrim, Diablo III and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and new SLI profiles are available for a wide range of games including the popular Mass Effect 3 demo.
GeForce 295.73 comes with support for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 Series cards, and for ION GPUs, it’s bundled with the PhysX System Software v9.12.0209, and key features as shown in below list.
