The second Service Pack for Microsoft Office 2007 is now available for download with all bugs (600+) fixed.Existing Office 2007 users can grab SP2 from the Microsoft Download Center. In addition to general product fixes, this includes improvements in stability, performance, and security.
One of the biggest change that they have introduced is the ability to remove individual updates, as well as the ability to remove the service pack altogether. This SP2 is especially tuned to update Outlook and SharePoint Server, it also includes support for more file formats, such as PDF and Open Document Format (ODF,used by OpenOffice). Now, add-in to save documents as pdf or XML Paper Specification (xps) has been built into the service pack 2 which means that users do not have to download third party tools for this functionality.

The Outlook team says SP2 includes a much-improved local storage engine for both Personal Folders files (PSTs) and Cached Exchange Stores (OSTs). Improvements will make Outlook storage less demanding on the PC’s disk but may require that Outlook take up more space on the disk. For more Detail information on this service pack 2 check out the Office Sustained Engineering blog post.
