About Ark: Survival Evolved Game:

Studio Wildcard created this survival-themed action RPG. In the game, players must avoid being killed by dinosaurs, fantasy creatures, and other roaming prehistoric animals, as well as natural hazards and potentially aggressive players, while stranded on one of several maps.

The player can choose to play in either the third or first person, and they can travel the game’s open environment on foot or by riding a variety of prehistoric animals.

Players can protect themselves from hostile humans and creatures with firearms and improvised weapons, and they can construct structures to serve as a defense on the ground and on some creatures. Both solo and cooperative play are possible in this game.

About Gloomhaven:

Isaac Childres created the cooperative board game Gloomhaven, which was released by Cephalofair Games. The game can include anywhere from one to four players. It’s a dungeon crawler with a story campaign, 95 different scenarios, and 17 different classes to choose from.

Gloomhaven

This is a tactical skirmish game with a fantasy setting and a campaign mode in which players compete in combat scenarios that increase in difficulty as more players join in. Gameplay-wise, Gloomhaven is more akin to contemporary Eurogames than it is to the role-playing games that have inspired comparisons to it.

Hex tiles are used to represent underground levels, where characters and monsters can freely roam. In each round, players select two cards to play at once; these cards each have a top and a bottom half, and players use the top half of one card and the bottom half of the other to perform actions like moving, healing, and attacking monsters.
