Finally Apple conformed iPad 3 event and has begun to rollout invitations for an event that’ll take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. The March 7 event date was expected, but invitations were the first official confirmation of the media briefing from Apple.
Although Apple did not specify what the event will be about, but the event flyer shows that(below image) a button less iPad and promises there will be something we really have to see and touch.
The invite says only “We have something you really have to see. And touch.”
Also in past at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, Apple announced both the original iPad and iPad 2 in 2010 and 2011, respectively.
So it is widely believed that Apple will unveil the next-generation iPad at the event as well as an upgraded Apple TV set-top box.Also recent rumors have suggested that Apple could additionally unveil a anew high-definition audio format with “adaptive streaming” thatcould allow Apple’s iCloud and iTunes Match services to send varying qualities of audio files to different devices depending on bandwidth and hardware requirement
Recent reports out of the Far East have suggested that Apple could offer near-immediate availability of the new iPad, with claims that the new devices are already being shipped to the U.S as retailers cut prices of existing iPad 2 models by$50 to $70.
According to rumors we can expect a faster iPad with a high-resolution “retina display,” Siri integration, and perhaps a haptic feedback.
The next iPad, presumably called iPad 3, will look similar in design to the iPad 2, but run with a faster chip, an improved graphics processor(A5 dual-core processor or quad-core A6 processor),4G connectivity and better resolution, AllThingsD reported, citing anonymous sources. The tablet could also feature a 2048×1536 Retina Display, bringing its pixel density in line with the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.
