Amazon Blaze: Dual-core Android phone

It seems Amazon-the world largest online retailer, is competing with Big ‘G’ on it’s base. Last month Amazon unveiled its own App store for Android devices and was well received by Android fans. A week back Amazon launched Cloud Drive a cloud music service to shop and store music, now the guys at Android Police revealed the leaked Pictures & Specs of ‘Amazon Blaze’ a Dual-core Android phone which is believed to be Amazon‘s first foray into the smartphone world.

Amazon is preparing to launch the smartphone by this summer. The Smartphone will be running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and has its own UI called ‘Blaze UI’, which will be tightly integrated with Amazon’s many services including books, apps, music, and so on.

According to the reports the Phone Features a 4.3 inch Mirasol display, Qualcomm’s 1.2GHz dual-core MSM8660 Snapdragon processor and Solar charger.

At First glance as you can see from the images , I think the smartphone has great design and you can see the generic Android UI is nicely customized. According to me the Highlight features of the Mobile are ‘Mirasol’ display which doesn’t need backlighting to display text or images and this makes it energy-efficient. Another Feature I believe which draw users attention is solar Charging.
