About ACID Music Studio:
Try this loop-based music production for yourself, for creative music arrangements the software provides 90 virtual instruments and 3,000 ACID loops.
New features include 24-bit/192 kHz support, MIDI track freeze, MIDI input filters for tracks, real-time pitch/tempo transposition, Drum grid timeline editing mode with drum map editor and Multiport VSTi soft synth support.
The main interface of the application is divided into four main areas.
All of the settings for the tracks can be found here. You can adjust volume, apply effects, mute or solo tracks, or change the track height.
A track header is displayed for each audio and MIDI track. The tracks extend to the right into the timeline and are used to arrange your media.
This is the main work area in ACID Music Studio software, called the timeline. The timeline allows you to arrange and edit all of your media to create a project.
Horizontally, the timeline represents the project time. In a way, the timeline is like movie filmstrip or unraveled audio tape, where you can “read” your tracks from left to right.
Vertically, the timeline shows tracks.A track is a strip where you can put your audio or MIDI.
When a media file is placed on the timeline, it is referred to as an event. The timeline lets you precisely control the length and placement of the events in your project.
The toolbar contains buttons that enable you to select frequently used commands quickly. You can customize it by adding, removing, or reordering buttons.
The Window Docking Area :
The lower half of the ACID Music Studio window is the window docking area. You can use this area to keep frequently used windows available, but out of the way, while you are working on a project.
You can also create multiple floating docks to organize your windows. These docks can float over the Music Studio window or — if you have a dual-monitor video card — on a secondary monitor
