About 11-11: Memories Retold Game

This PC game is an emotional rollercoaster, telling the story of two soldiers on opposite sides of World War I.

A distinct painterly style brings it to life, and the voices of Elijah Wood as Harry and Sebastian Koch as Kurt, along with an orchestral score by composer Olivier Deriviere, help players navigate the game’s happier and darker moments with ease and grace.

We played the game from a third-person perspective, with the option to choose between the two protagonists either at the beginning of each chapter or during certain parts of the game.

Each character in the story advances using his or her own methods:

  • Some of the game’s puzzles require Kurt to interact with various electrical devices.
  • Harry is equipped with a camera, allowing him to take pictures of the battlefield that will impress his superiors or serve his own purposes.
  • Some parts of the game put the player in charge of both a cat and a pigeon.
