Samsung is finally launching the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in India, but the Android tablet is renamed as Samsung Galaxy Tab 750. According to official information Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 will be launched in India on August 10th in New Delhi.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 was originally planned for a mid-June launch and now it is reaching in India with a change in the name, but other than name change, there aren’t any changes in the hardware or software configuration of the tablet.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 aka Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 runs on latest Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) OS and sports a 10.1-inch display(1280 x 800), an nVIDIA Tegra 2 processor clocked at 1GHz, 1GB of RAM with 16/32/64 GB variants for internal storage,bluetooth, WiFi, 3G, and has two cameras : 3 MP on the rear and 2.0 MP on the front.The rear camera is capable of recording HD videos while the front camera will enable video conferencing.

iPad 2 ,which was launched in Indian Market in April has gained popularity and Samsung claims,  Galaxy Tab 10.1 aka Samsung Galaxy Tab 750  is thinner than the iPad2 with 8.6mm thickness and weighs at 595 gm.
