Jailbreak iPhone 3GS 3.1.2 Firmware on Windows

One week back iPhone Dev-team released Pwnage Tool 3.1.4 for Mac OS users to jailbreak iPhone 2G/3G/3GS 3.1.2 Firmware.As-usual Window’s users  has to wait for the release of redsn0w or sn0wbreeze.
But now Window’s users can Jailbreak iPhone 3.1.2 firmware on iPhone 3G/2G and iPhone 3GS on Windows OS with the help of below Custom or hacktivated  IPSW firmware.

Just Follow below tutorial to Jail break iPhone 2G/3G/3GS 3.1.2 Firmware on Windows

  1. After downloading those files join them in to a single file with the help of HJSplit and extract that file.
  2. Install or run iTunes 9,now connect your iphone to your PC
  3. Select your iPhone from devices menu,then while holding SHIFT key click “ Restore” and select downloaded(extracted) custom IPSW file

  4. Wait until the installation process complete and OS boots up
  5. Now that Phone 3G/3GS 3.1.2 Firmware is completely Jailbroken, then follow this tutorial to unlock it and use it with any Carrier.

    6. Note:iPhone 2G doesn’t require bootloaders or Ultrasnow

Providing download links of custom firmware is illegal it is equivalent of distributing apple’s copyrighted firmware.
You can get into trouble.

i tried it; took a few o download everything, but when i used HJSPLIT to join them ; it worked, then i opened the file in WinZip and tried extraxting, said the files were corrupt and could not extract. Dont try this, it doesnt seem to work. if you want to waste your time and try it, please post ur results.

hey sandip-providing a link to file is not legal.storing it in your server is illegal.its just like that i can tell u where to get marijuana but giving it to you is illegal.
