How to Fix 1604, 1602, 1601 Errors while Restoring Custom Firmware

i have seen comments about 16XX or 21 error while restoring their Custom Firmware. So here is a fix to Bypass 16xx series error at the time of restoring your iPod Touch/iphne using custom firmware.

Bypass Error 16xx series:
1.First download iH8sn0w’s iREB 2.2/3.1 from below links
windows:http://bit.ly/9g40g
Mac:http://bit.ly/nuHHz
2.Run iREB 2.2/3.1 application,then select your iPhone or iPod and follow on screen instructions.
3.Now Put Your Device into DFU mode by following below instructions

  • Connect your iPhone or ipod touch to your system
  • Turn of the device (iphone or ipod touch), Hold power and home buttons together for 10 seconds
  • Release power but keep holding home button until your System beeps or alerts that a USB device is recognized.
  • After few seconds iTunes will or should detect your iPhone or ipod touch.
  • If it shows Restore logo on the screen, you are in Recovery Mode, not DFU.

    • 4.Now select your device in iREB 2.2/3.1 application,first you will see white screen,then after few seconds it will display a Red screen.
    5.Now run iTunes and Restore to custom firmware.

    @that’s it now your device is in recovery mode,then follow steps 4& 5
