Google TV Remote iPhone app released

Today Google released Google TV remote app for iOS devices, that allows you to control Google TV or Google TV set-top box from iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad devices. This app is already available for Android devices and much popular in Android market.

Why would you want to use your phone as a remote control?

• You can interact with your TV in ways you never have before. For instance, try using the voice search to find your favorite shows and movies just by speaking into your phone
• There should be less fighting over the remote, too, since multiple phones can work as remotes at the same time—you just need to agree on what to watch!
• Your phone improves standard TV remote activities like changing channels or accessing your DVR.

Google TV Remote App, basically works on any iOS device that is running iOS 3 or higher and it is available free from the iTunes App Store.
