Google today updated the Google play store to version 3.9.16, the main feature that you will notice in the updated version is ability to remove apps  from “My apps–>ALL” section. Apps that you have tried earlier and un-installed, can be removed from  “My apps” section in the new version, so now with this update to Google play store (earlier known as  android market), you can clear the clutter under  All apps section.

To remove several apps at once, just long-press any app in the list, next tapp on other apps(not on the removie icon),that you want remove and then delete them all in one touch.

Also, from now on Play Store keeps track of your location in lists, including My Apps and All Apps, so when you click into an app and back, it takes you back into the same location.

Another change you will notice in play store V3.9.16, is change of notification icon. The notification icon that pops-up on the notification bar when there is an update for installed apps has changed, and now notifications are expandable.

With the new version of play store, now app icon will be displayed on the notification bar after installing an app/update, instead of common play store icon.

Also the Play store apk size for this version was reduced, the latest version is around 5.23 MB, where as the previous version was 5.6 MB.If your Google Play store was not automatically updated to latest version, you can update it manually by downloading “com.android.vending_3.9.16.apk” from below link.
