Google music launched in India

Another useful search feature is added by Google for Indian netizens,  Google launched Google Music service in India that allows users to search for legal music streams and download.

It  seems by this Service Google aims to combat piracy in the Indian music industry. Google has partnered with  Saregama,  In.com and the Hungama-212 media JV – Saavn for Google Music Search (India) service, these three partners has legal permission to stream online.

Sadly this service is currently available only  for Bollywood songs.You can search by artist, movie, album or song title. The main Feature of this service is, On clicking the search result it will provide direct access to your songs. As shown in below screenshot , the music is played in a pop-up window.

So go ahead to search and explore music across thousands of Hindi Bollywood songs at Google Music Search(India) . You can find the latest Hindi songs, restrict your search to songs from 1980s, listen to songs sung by Kishore Kumar or Shreya Ghoshal or just all songs from the movie Buddha Mil Gaya.

Another thing is Google Music India is currently a labs poduct, According Google music-based searches are in high percentage from India and thinks that this service will make  your search and exploration for music content faster.
