Every year on July, the World eBook Library,Project Gutenberg , The World Public Library , other sponsors will team up and provide free access for one month( to download any ebooks from their Libraries.

This year the Fourth annual World eBook Fair was launched on July 4th,so in this one month i.e from July 4th to August 4th you can download ebooks for free. So visit worldebookfair.org ,  click on Browse tab and start Downloading  ebooks of your choice .

According to world ebook fair in this one month(7/04/09 to 8/04/09. ) we can download 2.5 million ebooks for free.

“Our goal is to provide Free public access for a month to 2.5 Million eBooks. During the rest of the year you may continue to download your selection of about 500,000 PDF eBooks by joining the World Public Library. Annual membership is only $8.95 per year.”

Highlights of the World eBook Fair:

• Three years ago The First World eBook Fair came on the scene with about 1/3 million books, doubled to 2/3 million in 2007, the raised to one million in 2008 and now over 2.5 million.
• Created by contributions from 100+ eLibraries from around the world
• At present date July 5, 2009 these were the approximate numbers:
