Just one month back we have seen the  release of firmware 3.1 update for iPhone & iPod Touch devices.

well yesterday Apple quietly released a new firmware version 3.1.2 for all the iPhone and iPod Touch devices which deals with some bugs and includes some improvements.

If you’re not using jailbroken iPhone, you can just upgrade your iPhone via iTunes and jailbroken iPhone users has to wait some more time,because Dev Team warned that current PwnageTool and redsn0w are not yet compatible with 3.1.2.

So we strongly recommend jailbroken iPhone users or those who want jailbreak,do NOT update to 3.1.2 firmware.

This update includes following bug fixes and improvements:

Resolves sporadic issues that may cause iPhone not to wake from sleep

Resolves intermittent issue that may interrupt cellular network services until restart

Fixes bug that could cause occasional crash during video streaming
