According to NYTimes & WSJ report, Google has teamed up with Intel, Sony and Logitech for a project to develop a platform, which is currently called as Google TV, which brings the Web to TV sets and set-top boxes.

The New York Times reports indicate that Google intends to build set-top boxes using the Android software, which means that  it will bring  Games, web apps, services like Twitter, Google search (ads) and sites like YouTube on your TV screen.Also it will have Google’s Chrome browser and supports other software.

Kaspersky Labs, World-Renowned Internet Security software providers have launched a new tool today called Krab Krawler which examines every post on Twitter and analyses the linked webpages for malware.

Although Twitter microblogging service is limited with 140 characters, but the malware problem arises with malicious short URLs that keeps on lurking on Twitter public posts.

According to Kaspersky’s statistics, almost one in every 500 web addresses posted on Twitter lead to sites hosting malware . The spread of malware is aided by the popular use of shortened URLs on Twitter which tend to hide the real website address from users before they click on a link preventing them from knowing where they are going.

JAJAH a VOIP provider,  launched a new and interesting service called JAJAH@Call (beta) ,which allows JAJAH users with a Twitter account to make free phone calls via Twitter microblogging service. @calls are made without revealing your number and without needing to know the number of the person you wish to call — all you need is their Twitter username.

The funny thing is just like Twitter where you tweet for 140 characters, here you are allowed to make only two-minute (140 words?) free phone calls to any Twitter user who is also a user of this service.

ReTweet is the current important built in feature that Twitter is missing, but  Twitter.com is also considering and planning to implement this retweeting in Twitter platform.

Mean while Firefox users can access this feature with Better Twitter, a User Script or Grease Monkey script.

Better Twitter is a compilation of Endless Tweets, Retweet, and twitter highlight replies user scripts, which makes Twitter web interface better by adding a Retweet button to Twitter.com and implements many more features.

Ha, at last  I  started writing something about Twitter, I don’t know I was very reluctant about twitter,where the whole webworld is marching towards twitter,even Google founder in member Ram shiram is praising twitter.But at last on my friend or co-author request we created a Twitter account for Techno360(sorry Twitter account id is  techno365,we didn’t get our blog name).Another silly thing is while writing this post Twitter is  Down Due to Denial of Service Attack (9.30 pm ISD).

Coming to point “Spam in Twitter”, according to Sysomos report 32% of tweets are generated by bots (150 times/day), in those 24% of Tweets are spam.
