Phishing remains one of the biggest threats to the network, email spam has gotten to the point that, even legitimate emails are marked as spam in Gmail or other mailing services.
To put a check to these issues, Gmail which was recently out of beta introduced a new security feature to completely stop spam and phishing emails. They introduced “super-trustworthy anti-phishing key”,which will display a security key at the top of the mail if verified. After enabling this feature you will see a super-trustworthy icon next to verified emails.

Gmail has been in beta phase for so long(5 years ) that it is hard to believe that it has finally stripped it’s beta tag. Google on Tuesday announced that Google Apps including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs and Google Talk are finally out of beta.
I didn’t see any new changes apart from a new graphic without the word “beta,”. However Google Apps is getting some new features, but that’s for enterprise users.

Early in the morning when I opened my Gmail account i was surprised to see a small window that shows the changes in the management of tags or labels in Gmail.

Gmail Compactor is a Greasemonkey script for Firefox which will allow us to reduce the size of the folder list in the Google Mail, located at the left side of the messages,So you can ‘convert’ your Gmail links (Inbox, contacts, sent, etc…) to icons. So we can get enough vertical space, which will be very useful to add other gadgets or to expand other features, such as chat contacts.
